On a very sunny July day, Erin & Nick prepared for their Detroit wedding. Their chosen venue was the historic Colony Club. Erin’s classic style, full of grace and elegance, matched the vintage atmosphere. And Nick in his dress blues added to the whole ambiance. 

They have known each other since high-school, but didn’t begin dating until college, and on that Saturday, they committed to love one another forever. 

All day, I observed such happiness from everyone that surrounded them. So many family members and friends traveled to bear witness to this sweet couple as they took their wedding vows. No amount of heat, humidity or rain that Mother Nature threw at them could stop them from thoroughly enjoying their wedding day. The happy tears were flowing, and I absolutely shed a few too. 

What a day it was, and what made it that much more special for me is that I’ve known Erin since childhood. I am so very thankful that Nick and Erin entrusted the job of capturing their wedding day to me!
