Let me first start out by saying that I am in no way an expert on this. I’ve only been a mother for 9 weeks [but wow does time fly]! These are simply things that I have found to work wonderfully for us and our little. There are plenty of other things that we absolutely love [the Mamaroo for example], but I picked things that we use daily.
- My number one favorite thing we have for Ainsley is the DockAtot. It’s super light so it can go anywhere. Plus it’s a great co-sleeper because it’s made from fully tested, breathable material. The cover is machine washable, which is great since we have a puker. Ainsley doesn’t have reflux, but it is said to help with that as well. The best part is how well she sleeps in this gem.
- Honest wipes. I have to admit, I’m not a fan of the honest diapers; they don’t seem to fit our sweet one very well, but the wipes, I love. I’ve tried a couple different brands of wipes and in my opinion, there’s none that compare. They’re naturally made so there’s no harsh chemicals in them, and they’re not super wet like others.
- We held Ainsley off on using a pacifier for a little while to make sure she got the hang of nursing. After a few weeks, we introduced the Wubbanub and she was a fan. They’re so great because of the weight from the animal. It’s harder to push out and she holds them herself now.
- Miss Ainsley gets a stuffy nose quite often, so the Nosefrida is a lifesaver. The concept is a little strange, but with such a teeny nose, it’s great to have something to help our girl breathe a little better.
- Along the same lines, the Oogie bear is another must have in my arsenal. I was having a tough time getting those stubborn boogers that were preventing her from breathing well. This tool is doctor recommended to assist in that challenge.
