It’s been a week of very little sleep, so let’s see if I can put together coherent sentences for this post 😉 Here are this week’s Friday’s Five.
- I feel like I’ve been in a fog all week with little miss’ crazy sleep schedule-but thank the good Lord for nice weather, because we’ve been able to walk a lot, and all our trees, including our beautiful magnolia tree, have been blooming. Nothing like a bunch of fresh flowers to brighten a mood! That and a new can of dry shampoo 😉
- Last weekend was Easter, and my sister flew in as a surprise for her friend’s 25th birthday; so bonus because we got to spend Easter Sunday as a family! It was such a treat.
- We leave on our European vacation in just over a month! Say what?!!! If anyone has any recommendations on things we should do, places we should eat, or books we should read before we leave, send them my way!
- I’m currently reading Tim Keller’s The Meaning of Marriage , and lemme tell ya, it’s WONDERFUL! Is it normal that I’ve highlighted almost everything on all of the pages?! I want to gift this book to all married couples!
- The lack of sleep brought along lack of any motivation for housework this week, and lots of binge watching Fixer Upper [I mean who doesn’t want to be bffs with Joanna Gaines?!!]. That just means when Matt would get home, I’d propose all these things we should do to our house, our next house, any future house we may have [as if I know anything about reno haha].
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend, and it’s filled with lots of rest, sunshine and maybe a chocolate croissant-or two 😉
