Since Leighton is 6 months old in a few days [yeah, um WHAT!], I thought I would let you in on how things are going, specifically on how the girls are getting along.
I won’t lie, two kids is HARD. Especially when they are 23 months apart. That means I’m dealing with potty training, the two year old whining for no reason, while sleep deprived and making sure the baby is okay. This is totally not a pity party at all, just real life.
All that being said, every bit of the stress and hard days instantly fade away when I look at my sweet girls. I’m not kidding when I say that Ainsley and Leighton are OBSESSED with each other. Leighton laughed pretty early, and I’m sure it was because she thinks Ainsley is the funniest human ever [and I can’t say I disagree with her on that 🙂 ]. I am so thankful that they get along so well. It really makes the hard days a little bit brighter! I’m so proud of both girls 🙂
In the spirit of sibling camaraderie, I wanted to share this fun book company, Hooray Heroes. First of all, I love a good personalized book, but even better, it’s tailored to siblings! You can make the characters look like your kiddos, and pick who you want to narrate the adventures. The stories seem like they will be more engaging when the girls are a little older, but the illustrations are so so fun and both girls love looking through all the pages. If you want to get your hands on a book [and PS they have a GREAT Christmas book out now that would be a wonderful gift], you can use code KATELYNKELLIE15 for 15% off your order!
